BARplast LLC and UBE America Inc. announces exclusive Distribution Partnership for Polyimides
BARplast LLC, a leading North American distributor of high-performance polymer materials, announces the execution of a strategic distribution agreement with UBE America Inc., a recognized global supplier of advanced polyimide materials. Under the agreement, BARplast LLC will serve as the exclusive distributor of UBE’s polyimide powder products throughout the North American region.
UBE’s UIP® polyimide portfolio is renowned for exceptional thermal stability, mechanical performance, and chemical resistance, making it a material of choice for demanding advanced manufacturing applications. The heat distortion temperature (HDT) of these polyimides ranges from 680°F to as high as 932°F with an overall temperature resistance at applications observed above >1000°F. Polyimide UIP® is recognized for having exceptionally low water absorption compared to the conventional PI materials.
